everybody's working for the weekend
Yes, I know it’s Monday. No, I’m not happy about it.
I hate Mondays. They remind me that I have four more miserable days before I can shut my mind off and fuck up my sleep schedule and watch TV and movies and eat clouds and junk food in bed. It’s not usually what I end up doing, but it’s what I did this weekend and it was glorious.

My wishlist is super long (as is evidenced by my Svpply account), but there are three items I’ve wanted for years that take full priority:
1. A banjo:
I’ve wanted a banjo since I was about 16. I imagine I had the attraction after I got into a big bluegrass phase. And that was thanks largely in part to Alison Krauss, after I heard “Two Highways” on an infomercial....

The new Mac App store looks so awesome. I already want every app they feature on the website, especially Things since I’m a chronic organizer.

Today has been pretty unproductive work-wise; secret Santa gift exchange and a birthday lunch will do that to you, I guess.
Our department secret Santa had a derivative I hadn’t heard before, that I actually thought was pretty cool. All the gifts had to incorporate the recipients initials - pretty creative right? It definitely added another element of surprise!
