I have tons of them. Ideas for posts, business ideas, ideas, ideas, ideas!
I love that I’ve got this huge wave of creativity, but I don’t feel like I have the time to give any of them the real attention they deserve. And it’s driving me crazy! What’s it worth to have a ton of great ideas that just go nowhere?
On one hand, I feel like I don’t have the tools that I need to really focus properly, but on the other hand, I know I’m a lazy bitch who loves looking for excuses for said laziness.
I guess someone needs to give me a swift kick in the ass to get started.
You can thank the New York Times for inspiring this blog post. My love for doughnuts/donuts is Simpson level (i.e. beyond “love” or “obsession” … or even “weird” - clearly, since I’m blogging about them). But seriously, to me, donuts (my preferred spelling) are amazing.
This is me:
This is me on donuts:
It started when I was about five or six - for some reason, we were still going to church and I remember following church service, the congregation would have this insane spread of donuts and pastries with coffee and tea, etc.. And I’d eat maybe an entire DOZEN donuts in a very short amount of time. And would get this intense sugar high before passing out while watching Rescue Rangers at 10 am.
I’m a fan of both Krispy Kremes and Dunkin Donuts, though plain glazed KKs used to remind me of something inappropriate. But, I can safely say, after 10+ years in the south, I’ve come around. I mean, have you ever had a hot, glazed Krispy Kreme donut (high or otherwise)?! God, just thinking about it makes me want to do something inappropriate, if you catch my drift.
Dunkin Donuts will always be my favorite though; I associate it with Boston and my first year of college. I think I even went on a date that year with a dude who had Fuckin’ Gonuts shirt, but that’s purely coincidental.
I literally tried to look up “donut fashion” so that this post wouldn’t be food-centric, but it just got creepy. But if I were a dude, I’d definitely rock these C2 Custom Simpsons Vans:
And that being said, I love JHud - her National Anthem rendition is one of the most beautiful that I have personally ever heard. And given the timing, it’s downright moving (her little sigh before she starts breaks my heart). If someone knows another that’s as good, I’d love to hear it. So, a word to her stylist… be nice to her boobs.
